Keypad Instructions

Enrollment Tips:

• Be sure your microphone or headset is working properly and is calibrated for the level of your voice.
• Choose a pass phrase that is between 2.5 and 3 seconds in length.
• A good phrase will have at least three or four strong vowel sounds.
  
• Digit sequences seem to work OK as long as they have vowel sounds; e.g. "62..81..53".
• You will need to repeat your pass phrase 3 or 4 times to enroll your voice on the system.
• Make sure you wait for the green light in the lower left hand section of the keypad to illuminate before speaking your pass phrase.
• If you have followed these instructions and still cannot successfully enroll, try changing your pass phrase, especially if you get the big dialog box warning you to calibrate your microphone.
• Some suggestions for alternate phrases are (Name + ZIP code), (phone numbers), (leading or trailing digits from credit card numbers spoken as doublets; 12...34...56...78), etc.

Users:
This control will accommodate up to 5 users simultaneously.
If you use the buttons beside the control to enroll, you must use the corresponding verify button for verifications.
To assign PINs for each user, you must use the keypad commands to initiate enrollment and verification.

Personal Identification Number:
Each user has a four digit PIN.
You may use any sequence of four digits for the users' Pins
The USER PIN must be unique from all other USERPINs.
The USER PIN must be different than the MIN.
When entering a new user PIN the digits entered
must be followed by the "#' key to confirm entry.

Master Identification Number:
The MIN is a four digit number (the factory setting is "9999").
You may use any sequence of digits.
The MIN must be unique from all other USERPINs.
The MIN has no function except for system and user management.
When entering a new MIN the digits entered
must be followed by the "#" key to confirm entry.

Commands:
NOTE: All commands must be preceded by the MIN.
The "#" must be entered followed by a command digit.
#1 = Add a new user (1-5). - For example, pressing "9999#111234#" begins enrollment for user 1 with PIN "1234".
#2 = Delete an existing user (1-5). - For example, pressing "9999#21" deletes user 1 if user 1 was enrolled.
